    When we want to dine al fresco, we generally go for a small bonfire perfect for roasting bratwurst. I can see thin slices of Land O Lakes 4 Cheese Italian Blend laid across a steaming bratwurst already! Can’t wait to try it!

    For dining al fresco I like to prepare salads in advance so they are well chilled. I also like to freeze whole strawberries and other fruit to add as ice cubes in sparkling water. Love the outdoors, love gathering with great people and LOVE to eat!

    Coolers aren’t just for cold. If you need to keep foods warm, a cooler – with no ice, obviously – will help keep warm foods warm, and will keep them safe from flying buzzing creatures who want to crash your party.

    I learned this tip from my mom. When you’re meeting at a park/beach–whatever–for a big family picnic/outing, ALWAYS be the person that packs a sharp knife, extra plastic forks/knives/spoons, a lot of napkins, salt and pepper shakers, wet naps, and a liquid hand soap (stored in a zip top bag). Yes, soap. The public bathrooms at these parks are notorious for being out of soap!

    My mom was always the go to person in our extended family. Someone always forgot some important utensil, like a knife to cut something they just grilled, or forks to eat their potato salad–even something as simple as salt to season something bland. Just pop these things in a reusable canvas or plastic shopping bag, and you’ll be a lifesaver!

    Never forget to separate space on the grill because you never know who may drop in and all should feel welcome

    Land O Lakes cheese and bbq, quite a pairing! I can’t eat a grilled cheese sandwich or cheeseburger with any other cheese!
